Estas bacterias, como las especies <em>Microthrix parvicella<\/em> o <em>Nocardia<\/em>, pueden aumentar significativamente el volumen de lodos al formar estructuras largas y filiformes. La espuma puede acumularse en la superficie del tanque biol\u00f3gico, provocando obstrucciones, reducci\u00f3n de la transferencia de ox\u00edgeno e incluso da\u00f1os en los equipos. Esto tambi\u00e9n dificulta la inspecci\u00f3n visual y la monitorizaci\u00f3n del proceso.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Deficiente sedimentaci\u00f3n de lodos en el clarificador<\/strong><br \/>\nLa estructura filamentosa de los fl\u00f3culos de lodos activados los hace menos compactos. Esto reduce la velocidad de sedimentaci\u00f3n de los lodos en el clarificador, creando una situaci\u00f3n de aglomeraci\u00f3n. Los lodos permanecen suspendidos en lugar de hundirse, lo que puede provocar su desbordamiento al efluente.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Excesivo contenido de s\u00f3lidos en suspensi\u00f3n en el efluente<\/strong><br \/>\nUna deficiente sedimentaci\u00f3n y la formaci\u00f3n de espuma aumentan el contenido de s\u00f3lidos en suspensi\u00f3n en el efluente final. Esto tiene un impacto directo en la calidad del agua y puede resultar en el incumplimiento de las normas de vertido. Adem\u00e1s, puede interrumpir los procesos posteriores, como el tratamiento terciario.<\/p>\n<p>El m\u00e9todo tradicional para controlar los lodos ligeros implica ajustar varios par\u00e1metros del proceso (como los niveles de ox\u00edgeno y los reg\u00edmenes de aireaci\u00f3n) y a\u00f1adir floculantes para aglomerarlos, haci\u00e9ndolos m\u00e1s pesados \u200b\u200by permitiendo que sedimenten en el clarificador. Si bien esta es una forma eficaz de reducir el contenido de s\u00f3lidos en suspensi\u00f3n en el efluente, a\u00f1adir floculantes no soluciona el problema de los lodos ligeros. La parte del lodo que se devuelve al reactor biol\u00f3gico a\u00fan contiene bacterias filamentosas, y si los factores de crecimiento de estas cepas bacterianas a\u00fan est\u00e1n presentes en el reactor biol\u00f3gico, volver\u00e1n a proliferar sobre las bacterias formadoras de floculantes. Con el tiempo, el problema puede agravarse con la dosificaci\u00f3n prolongada de floculante, ya que las bacterias formadoras de colonias finalmente desaparecen de los lodos de depuradora.<\/p>\n<p><strong>QM Environmental International<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"204\">propone soluciones microbiol\u00f3gicas destinadas a restablecer el equilibrio de la flora bacteriana y limitar de forma duradera el crecimiento de bacterias filamentosas.
