QM Environmental International B.V. specializes in environmental biotechnology and offers integrated solutions for environmental problems in soil, water and air.

QM Environmental International is an international company with representation in many European countries. QM Environmental International works closely with clients in the industrial, public and governmental sectors. QM Environmental International is involved in extensive ongoing research to devise and develop new and improved bioreagents and techniques to address the world’s pollution problems.
QM Environmental International offers a wide range of solutions to environmental issues that help improve the quality of life in densely populated areas.

The biotechnological products that QM supplies to various sectors comply with the Class 1 standard for micro-organisms as defined by the European Federation of Biotechnology (E.F.B.) and are “G.R.A.S. – Generally Regarded As Safe”. They comply with the European Union Directive 2000/54.

Intensive control before, during and after production of ingredients and end product guarantees the safety of the products for flora and fauna.

Our products comply with European directives 2000/54, 651/2013, 1810/2005, 834/2007 and 2008/4. The microorganisms used in QM products are class 1 microorganisms which are considered safe for humans, flora and fauna.

When QM Environmental International is faced with a problem, it tries to find the most environmentally friendly solution. This means that in the development of products and applications, the positive return on investment for the environment is always an important factor. The end product or application is a combination of cost efficiency and environmental return. QM Environmental International products can be divided into 5 categories.

QM Environmental International was founded by Robert Wagenveld.

Robert founded QM Environmental Services Ltd. in January 2005. In 2018, this company was transformed into QM Environmental International B.V. for the international distribution activities and QM Environmental Services Nederland for direct sales in the Dutch and Belgian markets. He is responsible for the daily management of the company, marketing, finance, sales and the support of QM’s international distributors.

Before founding QM Environmental Services, Robert co-founded Bioscience Europe B.V. and worked as a product manager and project manager at B.C.T. Nederland B.V.

Robert has over 30 years of experience in the use of specialized microbes for wastewater treatment, bioremediation, algae control and maintenance of drains, siphons, lift stations and sewers. He also has experience in the design and management of in-situ bioremediation projects.

Robert graduated in biotechnology from the Polytechnic Faculty of HR&O in Rotterdam.
